Get involved in dawah in
the community
Dawah (Invitation) is an important aspect of Islamic faith. Muslims, are commanded to enjoin what is good (al-ma’roof) and forbidding what is evil (al-munkar) as an important Islamic duty, indeed it is a noble cause and a task given to the Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them all), as Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allah after the (coming of) Messengers” [al-Nisaa’ 4:165]
Many people in our community, have very little interactions with Muslims or know very little of our religion. By speaking only truths about our faith, we can hope to share a positive, welcoming image of Islam and the Muslim community.
